“Oh, so it’s the Woodstock of Reuse … “

Someone I met at a recent GreenDrinks event summed up ReuseConex this way, after I had explained that the recycling sector has had nearly 30 years of conferences, but this is the first one for the reuse sector. So, it’s 60 days and counting until ReuseConex, the 1st National Reuse Conference & Expo, and the only appropriate response to quote above is “be there or be square, man!”.

We’ll also have a mention in the upcoming edition of ReadyMade Magazine – which should be arriving to your newsstands and mailboxes shortly. What people are saying about ReuseConex.

We wanted to share a portion of an email we received by a ReuseConex registrant.  We hope you share Joe’s sentiments on the positive impact of future collaboration & networking, and decide to register today!

“I have learned through networking locally, regionally, and nationally with Habitat for Humanity ReStores that together we have a far greater impact for change then each of us do alone.  Collaboration has been one of the greatest keys to our local success and I am convinced that all of our various trades and industries can benefit greatly by working together. This is why I’ve chosen to participate in Reuse Alliance’s ReuseConex event. I believe this conference will benefit our organization and others that work in or with the reuse sector. We’re all striving to make a difference in our communities by creating new opportunities for reuse, educating our industry and the public about sustainability, and advocating for change.  It’s amazing the difference we make individually, but if you think of the difference we can make by working together – it’s profound.”

- Joe Connell, ReStore Director, Habitat for Humanity of Portland, Oregon
