This event is open to conference attendees and expo-only visitors.

ReArt Exhibit & Sale will include reclaimed-material art from local artists. The participants will be announced in August, 2010.

Call for Artists:

The Reuse Alliance is inviting reclaimed-material artists (aka “trash artists”) from the West Coast to submit proposals to exhibit their work at ReuseConex, the 2nd National Reuse Conference & Expo on October 20-22, 2011 (location TBC). Up to twenty artists will be selected for this unique opportunity.

The ReArt exhibitors have met the following selection criteria:

• Are reclaimed-material artists – at least 85% of their artwork is made from materials reclaimed from the waste stream by you or others (i.e dumpster dives, reuse centers, thrift shops, etc).
• At least 25% of their artwork will be available for sale.
• Be willing and able to staff their booths during expo hours.
• Be willing to either contribute 10% of sales back to ReuseConex, or to register for the conference (discounted rate available).
